Frequently asked questions

How are remediation credits calculated?

One page of a basic text document is 1 credit; a page with tables, columns or figures is 4 credits; a form or complex page is 30 credits. A scanned page needs OCR, which runs from Level 2: it is quoted at 4 credits plus 2 for OCR, and OCR is included at Level 3. Current plan and credit-pack rates are on the pricing page — price your backlog before you talk to anyone.

Where do the calculator's prices come from?

From our published price list. A page costs 1 credit at Level 1, 4 at Level 2 and 30 at Level 3, and OCR adds 2 credits a page at Level 2. A credit costs $0.20–$0.30 on a monthly plan and $0.45 in the smallest pay-as-you-go pack. The calculator shows DocoMatic's costs only; for a manual service, ask the vendor for a written quote.
